Not My Father's Beer Adventures

According to the Brewers Association, as of early December 2015, there were a record 4131breweries in the United States. It’s pretty much impossible for one person to visit all of them. So during 2016, I’m calling on beer blogger friends to help give you the scoop. Every four to six weeks, a different blogger will report on the best beers, breweries, brewers and beer events their area offers craft beer fans.

Whenever you see the brown logo for Not My Father’s Beer Adventures, displayed for the first time today thanks to graphic designer Steve Zmak, you’ll also find a link to the guest blogger’s piece which they’ll post on their own website. After you read it, I encourage you to stick around and explore their websites.

The first guest blogger of 2016 is Natasha Godard, who not only knows a heck of a lot about beer, but she’s one funny lady. If you need proof, look her up on Twitter and scroll through some of her tweets. Without further ado, here’s Natasha introducing herself!

Natasha Godard is a food, beer, and science blogger at www.metacookbook.com who has a particular passion for pairing beer with food. Not too long ago she both moved to Portland, Oregon and became a Certified Cicerone®. She is still learning more about beer in general and Portland beers in particular. (Though, to be honest, with the move she’s also working on her wine knowledge.) She can also be found on twitter (@metacookbook) and at her travel blog (www.gettingreadytogo.netwhere she can advise you on travel coffee and hauling beer to and from your adventures.
